Visiting Prof John Gilbert

I hosted a farewell lunch yesterday at my residence in Alam Damai for our Adjunct Professor Dr John Gilbert from Univ of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. Prof Gilbert is the `Father of Inter-professional Education (IPE) for collaborative practice' - a consultant in speech therapy with vast experience in initiating collaborative work among doctors, nurses, pharmacists, therapists, social workers etc! Being a very friendly person, he blended very well and we have no problem including him as a family member of Dept of Medical Education, UKM! As he said - Malaysia is now his second home! We are happy to have you with us, John! InsyaAllah,we shall tap your wisdom & experience to put Medic UKM in the map of IPE!
